WHO AM I?

KANI

Directed By : Shybin Shahana Produced By : Dr. Sreekala Mullasseri Screen Play : Shybin Shahana Story : Dr. Sreekala Mullasseri

I watched this short film very recently, It really touched me that I wanted to share this piece of art with each and everyone of you.
This malayalam short film 'Kani' is about a very trending issue 'BABY SWAP'.
We all are aware of the baby swaps that occurs in hospitals every now and then.
We often finds this as a big crime. Yes I do support the irresponsible nature of the hospital authorities but then after watching this short film I think there are certain relations that you cant just break away in the name of blood relations.
In this short film we can see two families whose babies have been swapped and they move legally to exchange the babies. Bu then, the feeling of a mother who has fed the baby with her own breast milk and her difficulty to exchange the baby with her own is clearly portraying the true love of a mother.
Motherhood is not just about the 10 months of carrying , it has a deeper meaning.
Really loved it   !

A THREE LETTERED WONDER

A three lettered wonder,
Everytime he is beside me ,
I feel secured,
I feel safe,
I feel adored,
Who is he???
A superman I watch in movies?
Maybe not..
I never saw him fly
GOD?
No, he is visible to me.
I call him DAD!
Yes, the three lettered wonder.
The only man who loves me ,
Irrespective of his ego,
Irrespective of his anger,
Irrespective of his difficulties,
How? How do you manage to make me feel loved?
What else I can call you?
Other than,
My three lettered wonder!

THE LOST INNOCENCE

I do not remember when...
I do not remember the day...
I do not remember the time...
I do know I lost something..
Something which I didn't notice
Something that was to be treasured.

But what?
What did it consist of?
I dont remember seeing it..
I really dont...

I remember I was happy as a child
And when I lost it I became an adult
I thought I gained 'Maturity'
But, Gaining Maturity was all about losing Innocence.

#METOO, REALLY?

A campaign named #MeToo became very popular recently. Me Too Movement in India: The #MeToo campaign began as a hashtag on Twitter in 2017 amid the Harvey Weinstein, where the noted Hollywood producer has been accused of sexual harassment by over 70 women.

Do you actually support this kind of a movement? How does speaking about a past incident bring you justice? If you were brave enough to fight for justice you should have taken an action then and there. Being a woman, I know there are barriers and boundaries for the liberty that you enjoy but still if you feel you are being harassed sexually or mentally or physically or whatever, do you think a hashtag campaign would help???
I personally don't encourage this kind of a campaign. Yeah, after all its just a personal opinion !!

Rise up and fight for your rights girls ! Its time for you to speak up !
If he touched you with a bad intention hit him back ! Or if you feel you are incapable of taking an action, take a pause...wait...Lets make our authoritative powers work !

Hashtags for me are jokes !
And I dont want #MeToos to become #JusticeFors

Women, Our lives are nothing to be hanged on Hashtags !
